The Item Upgrader in World of Warcraft
The War Within introduced two gear upgrade currencies, Valorstones and Harbinger Crests. They can be exchanged at the item upgrader NPCs, Cuzolth and Vaskarn.
Each item can be upgraded to its maximum level for a specific slot at a time. Upgrades to that slot will be less expensive afterward. The pity system, introduced in The War Within, also reduces the extreme variance of upgrades.
Upgrades
Upgrades are elements that boost performance or add new functions. Upgrades can be purchased or earned in a variety of ways including through in-game events or cash shop items.
Upgrades are only available to specific items. Unlike enchantments which can be added to any item but upgrades are only available to the item they are connected to. A weapon that is already equipped cannot be upgraded. However, some items can be upgraded multiple times, providing a much better benefit to the user of the item.
The concept of upgrades is relatively new. It was introduced in patch 4.1.0. The upgrade system lets players fuse additional improvements to equipment to boost its power, from simple boosts in strength to major damage and defense enhancements. The upgrades are split into tracks, and each has limitations on the amount of upgrades that can be completed. These limits are intended to prevent players from scavenging low-keystone dungeons and upgrading their gear all the way to.
Upgradeable gear includes armor, weapons, and consumables. The majority of gear is upgraded when it is dropped. However, some items (such Ornn's equipment, or the infant Dracolich) aren't upgradeable. The gear can be upgraded by purchasing an upgrade recipe from a vendor and then combining it with the item in the appropriate upgrade slot. The icon of the item or the search in the shop will reveal how many upgrades that piece of gear is equipped with.
There are two main disadvantages to the upgrade system. It can be difficult to identify which items can be upgraded as upgrade vendors don’t always show all of them. The upgrade textures are rendered over the item model which may hide enchantment info and other details.
Upgrades can also be expensive. Every step in a gear's degree of upgrade will cost a certain amount of Valorstones, or crests, based on the slot and the item level. Weapons typically require more crests and Valorstones to upgrade than bracers or gloves for instance. There are however, some cash shop items that could help lower the cost of upgrading.
Recycle
In the wake of a growing awareness of how single-use products and wasteful habits can contribute to environmental degradation, many are changing their shopping practices. Many people purchase high-quality products that last longer or reuse their old gadgets in search of an answer. Some are focusing on recycled items and looking for the most recycled content in their purchases. This trend will hopefully help reduce the amount of resources needed to produce and extract new materials, and create an environment that is more sustainable.

It is now easier for consumers than ever before to find recycling. Many items, like furniture and paper, have a recycled component to them. These products are made from re-used or discarded materials. You can buy them online or in the store. In addition to helping the environment, these products are often cheaper than comparable products.
As an item progresses in it also receives bonuses in addition to the main stat gain. These bonuses are determined by its tier, and can vary from one type of bonus to another. People with higher tiers will be able to enjoy more bonuses than those with lower levels.
More companies are committing to creating products that are greener as the global economy shifts away form resource extraction and towards recycling and reusing. Many of them are also focused on recycling materials and providing incentives to customers who recycle their products. In the near future we're likely to see more recycled products on the shelves and in stores, as the demand for sustainable goods rises.
Rerolls
In Genshin Impact - or any gacha game in general - rerolling is an essential tool. Rerolling lets players try again with the weapon or character they like or want to play, whether because it's attractive or they think it would be a good fit on their team.
Rerolls function by allowing players to refresh their items that are available for the current game in exchange for a small amount materials. Prices of these weapons rise when the number of rerolls increases however some items might not be available (for instance, characters who exclusively use ranged weapons will not see the melee weapon).
When an item is upgraded it is placed in the Staple Pool and gains extra bonuses. upgrade item are based on nature of the item it is - for example, an upgrade that boosts a weapon's main stat can also boost its secondary stats. If the item is rerolled, the extras will be altered.
When a player is in enough stamina to perform an reroll, they will be able to hit a button that has circular arrows to swap their current item for a new one. The new item will be of the same level, but with a different set of extra bonuses, depending on whether the original item was a gun, sword or a watch.
Rerolling does not reset an item's bonus levels. However, a player might still need to meet the minimum requirements for its special ability. This can make it difficult to find a high-level item that has the bonus they want, but it does allow them to try for another alternative in the future, without spending more resources.
Leveling up an item doesn't just improve its extra bonuses - it will also give the item a boost in its tier and, consequently, it will receive a certain amount of bonus statistics when upgraded in the future. It is essential to only upgrade your gear to the extent you can, as future upgrades will not change the outcome.
Sets
A set is a collection of items which share a common characteristic. They are often employed in the mathematics field, and can be represented with a notation like . Sets have a number of important properties, including the associative property and commutative property. These properties aid us understand how sets work, and they also have real-world applications.
Sets of items can be upgraded to get additional bonuses in the game. A set of armor pieces can improve the protection of the armour and a weapon could add additional damage base. These additional stats will be applied after the base stat, and before flats and percentages. These additional stats are an excellent way to increase value.
When an item is upgraded it will replace the base stat with the new stat. For instance the weapon with 20 base damage would now have 40 base damage. It will also retain the previous armor value and upgrade requirements. upgrade item is a great way to get an elite item for an affordable price.
Upgrades to unique items are highly profitable, particularly if they have an interesting mod. For instance, a unique belt with +5 IAS could have a massive impact on the strength of a building particularly early hell. It's an excellent way to increase the value of a piece by adding the perfect or high roll.
Item Upgraders operate differently for unique, set and rare items. Usually, the item will be upgraded to its new base type after it is upgraded to level 10. An upgrade of a unique armor item with maximum defense will result in a similar base type for an elite armor item. This isn't a guarantee result, and there are instances where an upgrade will not alter the basic type of item.
It is recommended to upgrade your BiS (Best in Slot) before moving to non-BiS items. This will ensure that players have an excellent foundation to build on when they level up, and they can concentrate on boosting their tiers and getting additional stats.
